Three mysteries, one collection, and a fresh new look for my website!

There have been some exciting things happening behind the scenes lately, and I’m thrilled to finally share them with you! Between revisiting some of my favorite characters, releasing a new book collection, and giving my website a little makeover, I’ve been keeping pretty busy. And if you know me, you know there’s usually another book idea brewing somewhere in the background!

I’m so excited to announce that The Whiskers Collection, featuring all three books in my Whiskers & Tails Mysteries series, is officially available on Amazon!

If you’ve followed my writing journey, you might remember veterinarian Olivia Swann and her four-legged companions from my original cozy mystery series. These characters have always held a special place in my heart, and I recently decided it was time to revisit their adventures and give the books some extra attention.

But this wasn’t simply a matter of putting three existing books under one cover.

I went back through all three stories and revised them! I worked on improving the storytelling, strengthening scenes, polishing dialogue, and making the mysteries even more enjoyable. My goal was to preserve the humor, heart, and lovable characters that readers enjoyed while creating a smoother, more engaging reading experience.

And now, instead of purchasing each book separately, readers can enjoy the entire series in one convenient collection!

The Whiskers Collection includes:

• Whiskers in Trouble: Meet Olivia Swann as she opens her veterinary hospital and unexpectedly finds herself investigating a murder, with a little help from her furry friends.
• The Whiskered Witness: Olivia becomes tangled in a decades-old mystery where buried secrets and unexpected discoveries threaten to turn her world upside down.
• Whiskers of Suspicion: In the final installment, Olivia faces one of her most personal mysteries yet when her boyfriend, Tom Barnaby, mysteriously disappears.

Of course, Fiona, Wilson, Barnabus, and the rest of the animal crew are along for the adventures, providing plenty of personality, humor, and the occasional clue!

One of my favorite things about writing this series has always been the animals. Anyone who has ever shared their home with a pet knows they have personalities all their own, and I’ve always enjoyed imagining what they might say if we could understand their conversations!

Whether you’re discovering Olivia and her friends for the first time or returning to Woodlawn for another visit, I hope you’ll enjoy these newly revised editions.

Along with the new book release, I’ve also been making updates to my author website!

As I’ve continued writing and publishing books for different ages and interests, I realized it was time to make the website a little easier to navigate. After all, someone looking for a cozy mystery might not be searching for the same kind of adventure as a parent looking for a bedtime story!

I’ve been working on creating a more organized space where readers can discover my books, learn about the characters, and find stories that are just right for them.

One of the biggest changes has been adding dedicated landing pages for my children’s books!

My children’s books have grown into a wonderful collection of characters, each with their own adventures and lessons to share.

The updated website makes it easier for parents, grandparents, teachers, and young readers to discover these stories.

Albert the Donkey

My award-winning Albert the Donkey series, written primarily for children ages 3–6, follows a lovable donkey whose adventures teach lessons about friendship, kindness, courage, and doing the right thing.

From making new friends to discovering treasures and solving a mystery, Albert has certainly kept himself busy!

The Adventures of Hank the Hamster

Then there’s Hank, my curious little hamster with a big appetite for adventure! When an ordinary day takes an unexpected turn, Hank discovers that the world outside his cage is much bigger than he ever imagined.

His story celebrates curiosity, perseverance, and the comforts of home.

Bella’s Beautiful Spots

Bella is a very special little bunny who learns that being different is something to celebrate, not hide.

Written for children ages 3–8, Bella’s Beautiful Spots explores self-acceptance, friendship, and the importance of embracing what makes each of us unique.

It’s a message I believe children can never hear too often: You’re beautiful just the way you are!

I’m excited to have more dedicated spaces for these books so families can get to know the characters and explore their stories.

Of course, my website wouldn’t be complete without a little murder and mayhem!

If cozy mysteries are more your style, you can also explore my Cozy Addict Mysteries, featuring Penelope Paxton and her loyal Standard Poodle, Radar.

The first book, Ashes & Alibis, introduces readers to Willow Creek, Ohio, a charming little town where gossip travels quickly and secrets have a way of refusing to stay buried.

Daubers & Deceit is coming Spring 2027!

Penelope and Radar will return for another mystery, this time involving a charity bingo fundraiser, some suspiciously lucky winners, and a whole lot of small-town secrets.

Between writing new mysteries, developing children’s stories, attending author events, and working on future projects, there’s always something happening! And I love being able to share those moments with you.

One thing I’ve learned since becoming an independent author is that publishing a book is only part of the adventure. Revising stories, learning new things, connecting with readers, and finding ways to make each book better are all part of the process. Revisiting the Whiskers & Tails Mysteries reminded me just how much I love these characters and how rewarding it can be to return to an earlier work with fresh eyes and more writing experience. And seeing my website grow alongside my collection of books has been exciting, too!
